CLAIRE COMPLETES CHARITY BIKE RIDE
Congratulations go to Claire Coulson who recently completed a gruelling 32mile bike ride in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
Claire was quick to point out that the ride, which ran a circular route from Elsham Hall to the Humber Bridge and back, was in fact a total of 33.8 miles, which tested her ability and will power to the fullest. However, she managed to overcome agonising cramp to complete the ride in a respectable 31/2 hours.
Having completed the ride with her father and fiancé, Claire raised a significant amount of money for the British Heart Foundation, which she is still collecting.
Claire said: “I was really proud to complete the event for such a good cause, so much so that I am considering repeating the challenge in November around Sherwood Forest. The best thing about the charity is that you know that the money is going directly to Hull Royal to pay for their consultant.”
