IN THE NEWS AGAIN!
The news that a range of million pound properties have been sold in the region have sparked widespread optimism that the property market is as buoyant as ever.
The news was not unexpected by Larards Residential Sales who are one of the areas premier estate agents, able to cover the entire county.
The presence of a City Centre office allowed Larards to be in the best position to also comment on the rise in average prices in the City of Hull and the larger properties within the cities boundaries.
When interviewed by the Hull Daily Mail, Alisdair Bott, area manager of Larards Residential Sales expressed that he believes investment in Hull and new developments have helped push up prices on the city's outskirts.
He said: "There is a lot of investment going into Hull with developments such as St Stephen's, which is helping push up prices.
"I think we will see a levelling out period as wages catch up with house prices, but after that I see no reason why prices in the city should not tip over £500,000 in some parts."
